Boat Lettering Review #20074: Difficult forward-leaning curved transom.

DIY was excellent in every possible way: Design flexibility, fast, easy to apply, affordable, good post-sale contact. Challenging sailboat transom tilted forward at the top, curved, had to apply from the cockpit poking through the railing. The design tool let me curve the bottom line, which meant the type reads somewhat normally even with the forward tilt and curve. Wanted low contrast, the middle-gray drop shadow defined the white letters. Easy to cut apart the letters and create a ligature where the two L letterforms and the Y would have left gaps and was fun.
