Custom Vinyl Lettering Review #17730: I collect models of trains that I have ridden over the last 57 years. Sometimes when there is no model available for purchase I build my own and use DIY lettering. I model in 1:87 HO scale. I have attached a photo of some engines with DIY letters on them.

The DIY letters provide sharper, straighter, more evenly spaced letters than dry transfer letter sheets and look much better than decals when they are available. I can create road names, etc. that are not otherwise available.
