Wet Vinyl Installation Instructions - diylettering.com

Use a mist spray bottle to get the surface and adhesive wet.

Small vinyl lettering and decals should be installed dry.

Mix 1 or 2 drops of liquid dish soap in a spray bottle of water.

Spray your surface and the bottom of the vinyl (after removing the liner) with water. Then proceed with the normal vinyl installation.

Don't get the paper liner under the vinyl adhesive wet. If this gets soggy it will be very hard to remove the liner.

Make sure any water that is under the vinyl gets pushed out. Start from the middle and push toward the edges.

Wait a 10-15 minutes for it to dry before you remove the transfer tape from the top of the vinyl lettering. If the vinyl starts to peel up with the transfer tape, squeegee it down again and wait another 15 minutes before removing the transfer tape.
Push the water out from under the vinyl.
