The height of the letters I ordered was to be 6" (if I recall correctly). However when I put in the special effect (arch), the height of the letters was 4" but the overall height of the decal was 6". Way to small for a boat name, basically a throw-away decal. If this cause/effect was spelled out clearly, I missed it when placing the order. I have not yet called to see if you'll correct the problem.
We loved the selections! And I could not get over how easy it was to put on the boat! It looks great.
There were some bubbles after following directions to a tee. They all disappeared after a few weeks. Looks great.

I am so thrilled with the quality and ease of installment.I generally mess up the smallest of stickers and these went on smooth and nice as can be. At this point the lettering looks better than the boat! So I'll have to make her worthy of the lettering! Thank you for a great product!

I should of gone with a 3" letters instead of 4" letters. Any chance I could get a replacement order with 3" letters?
We put these letters on our boat and they look great! They were easy to apply with the spaces required by the state already part of the whole decal. The price was extremely reasonable too. Application was easy, the only thing I am not happy about is a tiny ridge I left in one letter on the first side I put on, but that is my fault, not the company's. The second side went on better since I knew what I was doing. I would definitely purchase from DIY Lettering again. The selection of available fonts is amazing, if not a little overwhelming. I am very pleased with the font I finally settled on. Looks great on our new boat.
I recommend if you have multiple words that you cut each word apart and put on separately. The absolute best quality and BEST customer service anywhere.
Letters look fantastic and are of very high quality. We have received several compliments!
The numbers were very easy to apply and they stayed perfectly aligned and spaced. The instructions were complete and you can pick the best of the several options for your situation. Since I had a long string of numbers I used the hinged in the middle technique.
Easy and actually fun from start to finish. Anyone can do this and produce a nice result. IMO best place on the planet to get lettering for your boat
Very simple to understand instructions. Started after work around 6:00PM by taking the wax off the stern with acetone. Cleaned everything up and laid out the placement using green painters tape (picture 1). I used the wet method and by 8:45 I was done. Looks great and I've gotten lots of compliments.
Fun experience to DIY! Sent a separate email because we will most-likely need a new "E" since the adhesive edge fell into the water...
